Walsh Karra Holdings to take control of Golden Shield Resources
The deal would give the investor about 51 per cent of the company's shares, and with them a change of control.

Golden Shield Resources Inc. has agreed a binding letter agreement under which Walsh Karra Holdings would take control of the company. A binding letter agreement is a signed deal that commits both sides to follow it.
Walsh Karra Holdings is a United States investment firm. The firm is using a wholly owned subsidiary, Aurevo Resources Inc., for the deal.
In a report published on 19 October 2026, Kaieteur News said Golden Shield Resources Inc. announced the agreement on 13 October. The announcement itself was made public on 13 October 2026.
When the deal closes, Walsh Karra and its affiliates will hold about 51 per cent of Golden Shield's fully diluted shares. Fully diluted means the count includes shares that could be created later, such as from options. This would hand Walsh Karra control of the company.
Kaieteur News reported that Golden Shield owns 100 per cent of the Marudi project in Guyana. A prospecting licence is permission to search for minerals.
Kaieteur News also counted this as one of nine foreign deals for Guyanese mining properties in 2026.
