Investing.gy is an independent, strictly informational news service about business and investment in Guyana. We report what the public record shows: government contracts and tenders, bids, environmental permits, oil and gas supplier opportunities, the stock exchange, central bank publications, the Official Gazette and official statements.

Data pages

The contracts tracker, supplier opportunities and stock prices are compiled automatically from the official listings they link to, and are shown as those sources publish them. They are not edited, so check the original record before relying on a figure.

How we report

• Primary records first. Stories are built from official documents: the National Procurement and Tender Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Official Gazette, the Guyana Stock Exchange, the Bank of Guyana, ministries and company filings.
• Every statement is sourced. Each sentence we publish is tied to a specific record, and the records are listed under every article. Amounts, dates and names are checked against those records before publication.
• News reports are attributed. A detail reported by a single outlet is published only with attribution, and only alongside an official record or a second independent report.
• An editor approves every story. Our system drafts articles from the records and runs automated checks; nothing is published until an editor has reviewed it.
• No opinion, no advice. We do not speculate or make predictions, and nothing on this site is investment advice.
