Guyana to host CARIFESTA 2027, the region's arts festival
It will be the third time Guyana hosts the Caribbean festival, which it first staged in 1972, Discover Montserrat reported.
Creatives from across the region will travel to Guyana for CARIFESTA 2027, the Department of Public Information (DPI) said.
Discover Montserrat said CARIFESTA XVI will run from 8 to 17 October 2027. The site said the dates were announced on 10 September 2026.
Discover Montserrat reported that Guyana will host the festival for the third time. The site said Guyana hosted the first CARIFESTA in 1972. It said Guyana hosted the festival again in 2008.
